Our final look back at the last 300 episodes involves one of our oldest friends, Nick Sanford. In July of 2015, we ran a “You Pick the Trash” Marathon, and Nick lobbied hard to make us do Twister. Given his past with the show, we invited him along to talk about one of his favorite movies.
A Twister, A Twister
Nick and Dalton are long-time friends. So, Dalton naturally drug him to the outskirts of the tidal pool when the GenreCast started in 2012. Nick made occasional appearances to talk about some of his favorite films, and we even did a live show and interview after screening his film, Tempus Fugit in Oklahoma City.
The relationship between us and Nick has lead to a constant game of who can support who more. We’ve been there to promote his works, and he’s always shouted us out.
He wanted to talk Twister because of his close relationship with the film, as well as the movies Oklahoma roots.
Alex, Dalton and Dustin join Nick to discuss PTSD, fatalism, formalism and westerns.
Batten down the hatches, the winds blowing strong. We’ll see you tomorrow with episode 300!
