Facing off with the Highlander

Over the course of 8 years, we’ve managed to do three movies with Sean Connery, all of which occurred this year! Oddly fitting considering the late great’s recent passing.

This week, Dustin is forcing us to look at the 1986 cult classic Highlander. A sci-fi fantasy action tale about immortal swordfighters fighting for immortality, maybe?

On the episode, we present a queer reading of the film. We talk about the movies look and aesthetic choices. Dustin discusses immortality. All of that and much more as we take on Highlander.
