A late night set is arduous work for a comedian, each word and beat labored over at mics and on paper, alone and with producers. They have to deliver a “tight five”- five minutes on the nose. On A Loose Five, host Wampus Reynolds and comedians from around the country take on one joke each episode from one comedian’s set and discuss it and how it relates to their own comedy and feelings. It is a great dissection of humor and the people who use it onstage.
A Loose Five – Joe Bates “Yes, applause is always an appropriate response to humor!”
