With the year wrapping up, it’s time for us to get serious about catching up on what happened in 2019. So, to do just that, we went to the moving picture show! Earlier this year, a lot of buzz began rising for Bong Joon-ho’s new movie, Parasite. It won the Palme D’Or at Cannes and proceeded to become the highest grossing international film of 2019. So, when it unexpectedly opened here in OKC, we knew what we had to do.

Bong Joon-ho’s biting satire of class disparity navigates tone and genre like few other films. It’s funny until it isn’t anymore. This week, we talk about the Hitchcock influence, just who the parasites truly are, and how the world that Bong created for his newest movie.
