Join this healthy abundance of boys as they discuss:

The Boys feel it on Ye Shall Receive Power

Twinkie Clark: Ye Shall Receive Power Cover

Elbernita “Twinkie” Clark-Terrell is the leader of the highly successful Gospel group The Clark Sisters, which, as advertised, included her sisters. Twinkie is credited with being “the Heart of the Clark Sisters”, as she is the primary songwriter, producer, and music arranger capable of a vast vocal range.

Twinkie Clark released Ye Shall Receive Power in 1981 while still a member of The Clark Sisters. Ye Shall Receive Power plays as an opus of Twinkie’s eclectic influences, including Gospel, Jazz, Funk, Classical, and Blues. Twinkie’s ear for musical arrangement precipitates an authentic sound that at times demands you to move, and at others demands you to be moved. Even one listen to Ye Shall Receive Power makes it simple to understand how Twinkie Clark helped shape modern Gospel music.

We frankly cannot say anymore or we risk giving everything away! Get our full thoughts and our rating today on this episode of the Praisedown!
